Sushi Recipes


  • Ebi nigiri (shrimp)

  • Hamachi nigiri (yellowtail)

  • Hotategai nigiri (scallops) Ika nigiri (squid)

  • Maguro nigiri (tuna)

  • Saba nigiri (mackerel)

  • Sake nigiri (salmon)

  • Tai nigiri (snapper)

  • Tako nigiri (octopus)

  • Toro nigiri (fatty tuna)

  • Ikura gunkan maki (salmon roe)

  • Tobiko gunkan maki (smelt/flying fish roe)

 

Sushi Rice

Recipe 4-6 people

3 cups of medium size sushi rice. brand "Nishiki"

3 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
1 tsp salt
3 tb sp sugar


Step 1. Prepare the sushi rice Vinegar. Mixing sugar, salt and rice vinegar, in a pan. Use low heat until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.


Now wash the sushi rice!

Spread and flatten the rice out on a large plate, don't mash it! Now mix the rice vinegar you made in to the rice lightly. fold the rice on top of itself. Don't kneed caution to mash the rice. Let the rice cool and allow

the moisture to evaporate. You made sushi rice!
